Agriculture futures drop on Chicago BOT, beef and pork prices slide on Merc Excahnge

Agriculture futures, livestock prices drop
CHICAGO — Agriculture futures moved lower Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery fell 3 cents to $4.445 a bushel; December corn lost 1.5 cents to $3.395 a bushel; November soybeans shed 4 cents to $9.13 a bushel; and oats for December delivery were unchanged at $2.34 a bushel.
Meanwhile, beef and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle slipped 0.18 cent to 85.47 cents a pound; October feeder cattle lost 0.25 cent to 95.55 cents a pound; October lean hogs dropped 0.52 cent to 49.75 cents a pound; and February pork bellies tumbled 3 cents to 81.70 cents a pound.
