Advani to hit the road once again

NEW DELHI - Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) veteran L.K. Advani, who has undertaken several cross-country rallies in the past, will be doing the same once again - to motivate party cadres in the aftermath of the party’s poll debacle.

In his concluding address to the party’s national executive meeting here Sunday, the first since the Lok Sabha election results, Advani spoke about the opportunities ahead for the party.

“In order to let party cadres know both the opportunities and tasks before us, I have decided to tour the entire country in the months to come. I shall be visiting all the states, and more than one place in some of the bigger states,” he said.
