AAR gets $40M contract from BAE Systems
WOOD DALE, Ill. — Aviation product supplier AAR Corp. said Tuesday it received a $40 million contract from BAE Systems Inc. to make additional mobile shelters for Army vehicles.
The company said BAE Systems was exercising a one-year option on a contract issued in October 2008.
The mobile shelters for the Army’s Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles program are scheduled to be delivered between April and November 2010.
The shelters will be built by AAR’s Mobility Systems division, which designs, builds, integrates and supports rapid deployment equipment, expeditionary systems and command and control systems for defense customers and prime contractors.
