A hot humid day ahead in Delhi

NEW DELHI - Delhiites will experience hot and humid weather Wednesday as the weatherman has forecast an increase in the day temperature here.

“The residents of Delhi will experience muggy weather. The day temperature will increase following westerly winds from Rajasthan,” said an official at Safdarjung meteorological office.

The capital Wednesday recorded a minimum of 31.4 degree Celsius, six degrees above Tuesday’s 25.2 degree Celsius.

The humidity level was recorded at 68 percent.

The official also said that there was a possibility of thunderstorm and dust storm during the day, and that the maximum temperature would hover around 40 degrees Celsius.
