21 killed in Sudan bus-truck crash

KHARTOUM - Twenty-one people were killed Sunday when the passenger bus in which they were travelling collided head-on with a truck near the Sudanese capital, officials said.

The accident took place some 40 km south of Khartoum, the Sudanese Media Centre (SMC) reported.

Fifteen other people who were injured in the accident have been shifted to hospitals in Khartoum, the report said.

The police said some of the victims remained unidentified.
