2 small planes crash at Florida airport, killing 2

LANTANA, Fla. — Authorities say two people are dead after two small planes crashed while on the ground at an airport in south Florida.

Fire rescue officials says the crash happened Wednesday morning at Palm Beach County Park Airport in Lantana.

WPEC TV footage showed the wreckage of one plane against a parked truck trailer. Fire trucks were parked nearby on the tarmac.

The cause is still under investigation.
